Nine Mile River – Pergola

This custom 20′ x 12′ covered pergola in Nine Mile River, Nova Scotia was built to create a comfortable, functional outdoor space with added privacy and long-term durability. Using locally milled roughcut hemlock, the structure has a strong, natural look that blends well with the surrounding environment while standing up to the elements.

The design includes built-in privacy walls, giving the space a more enclosed and relaxed feel—ideal for entertaining or everyday use. To enhance usability, an integrated electrical sub panel was installed, allowing for lighting and future outdoor features without additional modifications.

Every detail was carefully planned and executed to ensure structural strength and a clean, finished appearance. From the framing to the final touches, the focus was on quality and long-term performance.

The finished pergola adds both function and character to the property, creating a versatile outdoor area that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
